Create your vision by starting with the ends in mind. Taking time to reflect on the past and envision new possibilities is a great way to plan ahead with intention.
As we approach year-end, consider assessing the past year and looking towards the future.
1. Where are you now? 2. What have you accomplished over the past year? 3. Where do you want to be a year from now? In 3 to 5 years? 4. What needs to change for you to achieve your goals?
Use these questions as a jumping-off point to consider what you want for yourself. Just as companies compare their annual performance to benchmarks they set at the beginning of each year, we can go through the same process for ourselves to evaluate what is next for us. We get to choose!
Approach the process with curiosity and compassion rather than criticism and comparison. Look at all you`ve learned and remember we often underestimate how long certain changes can take and can also undervalue our own progress as we constantly reset the bar higher. I invite you to cheer yourself on for all you did instead of beating yourself up for what you didn`t do.
For more support and insight into your exploration process, I offer a complimentary strategy session and am happy to share some perspective on your future vision. Contact me for a 30-minute call now. Why shouldn’t you be the best and happiest version of yourself?

Authenticity lets us show up fully and make an impact. This occurs when we align our words, thoughts and actions. The most effective communications clearly articulate what you want to say, to whom, why it matters when it will happen and which outcomes should result.
Sometimes, what we actually say is less important than how and when we say it. Saying the right thing at the wrong time will fall flat, and saying something important without actually caring will register as disingenuous and inauthentic, unlikely to connect or resonate with your audience. Don`t overlook the internal preparation around WHAT you want to say or ignore the external planning around HOW best to communicate to increase your success and impact.
When we are completely defined by who we have been, it can be hard to step forward into something new and different. Perhaps our old ways give us comfort, pride or security because we know them well. Even if we weren’t happy, the known kept us comfortably safe. Letting go and being uncomfortable, risking awkwardness, and not knowing - that’s rough, let me tell you! Inertia will win out over momentum every time if we let comfort be our guide.
It takes courage to break out of the box, to step outside of the lines and often involves uncertainty and a process of learning and discovery. Key transitions typically happen in stages (for both individuals and organizations). We start out youthful and inexperienced (the "beginner"), then gain more experience and knowledge, and suffer through some missteps. Perhaps we connect with the wrong people, make poor choices, and hopefully learn from our mistakes. Then, we integrate our lessons as we grow and gain experience, stepping into more mastery (the professional).
Recognizing which stage you are in is an important way to be engaged in the process without beating yourself up for not being farther along. Experience takes time and is often hard-won - it won’t be handed to you. You have to earn it!
How do you choose to see the world? Through dark or rose-colored glasses? Fancy yourself an optimist, pessimist or realist? Regardless of how you feel, you can choose to increase your happiness setpoint and make choices that bring you more positivity.
Introducing mindfulness practices to your days and week can support you in feeling more aware and making better choices. Whether you journal, meditate, walk, listen to music or prepare your morning cuppa with intention, you can find ways to carve out more presence in your day. Acting thoughtfully lets you choose your mindset and minimize the influence of others. The more clear you are on what`s YOU - the easier it is to tell what`s NOT YOU!
Many animals have natural physical responses that help them move fear through their bodies. They basically reset their state so they can get back in action.
Sadly, we humans often internalize heavy emotions and store them in our bodies, where they get stuck and wreak havoc. Repeated insults cause us to develop ingrained response patterns (aka habits). We can become repetition machines in a constant reaction cycle without even realizing it. This happens frequently with our default stress responses.
Pattern interrupts are needed to break unhealthy recurring cycles that can be hard to shift out of. This helps us step back from our unhelpful habits and see how we may give our power away to others, blame ourselves, or feel stuck. For instance, do you have a habit of staying at or with something you don`t love just because you`re afraid to leave?.
Supporting clients to recognize when and how to notice and stop their default reactions is some of the most important and powerful work I do. We can release the past to create a more aligned future.
This upcoming holiday, as we give thanks for all of our blessings, I pulled a card from my Whispers of Lord Ganeha deck by @theangelahartfield, which I find inspiring and supportive. The message Decision came through.
While I was anticipating something more like gratitude, we`re being invited to choose. We may be faced with important challenges or choices where we have the opportunity to step up and into something new.
Where are you longing to do something different? This a season of change as the trees 🌳 shed their leaves 🍃, so may we wish to release old patterns. Go within and listen to your heart. Quiet your mind to find the answers you seek. Listen and you will hear the whispers of your desires.
I`ll be sharing more intuitive guidance in the future. Let me know if there`s any decision you may be facing that this invitation is prompting you to consider.
Feel free to reach out for more support. I`m offering a special discount on 45-minute Soul Sessions for my business 10 year anniversary and the holiday season until 12/22 (can be used through 2/29). Check out link in bio to book.
Best wishes for quality time this season with yourself and loved ones. May it be filled with peace and connection! #warriorwisdom #warriorwellbeing ...
When facing a crossroads in life, we can all benefit from a fresh point of view. Do you have a personal team of advisors who can support you and your growth? It can be helpful to get diverse opinions from friends, family, mentors, coaches or others whose opinions you value before making your own decision.
Of course, only you know the right course of action, but sometimes it can take a while to figure out what that is. Here are some tips for navigating those difficult moments in your life.
Take time to assess where you are and where you want so you can address what’s not working and find a path to achieve what you actually do want. Sometimes, this may involve developing new skills, changing your attitude or taking a temporary pause to manage your situation. Other times, you may need to leave and develop an exit strategy pronto. It can take time to figure out what’s needed and how to get more of what you want. Be patient with the process of trial and error.
Ultimately, you will uncover your feelings and do what`s right. If you would benefit from another perspective, reach out for more insight. I offer complimentary no-commitment strategy sessions to help you clarify your goals and would be happy to speak with you about your current situation.
